the thoughts behind tsu•mu•GuWEAVE TOGETHER
thoughts, moments and
human connections.
A cup of coffee is filled with so much time and thought.
Coffee beans carefully cultivated on a farm far away in Vietnam. The person who delivers the beans, the roaster, and the barista who carefully brews each cup. And the customers who enjoy that moment.
The combined thoughts and feelings of each individual come together to create a single cup of coffee.
The name "Tsumugu" (紡) embodies our wish to carefully weave together thoughts, time, and connections with people, just as one would spin thread. A moment to pause and unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We want tsu•mu•Gu to be a place where people cherish those moments.
紡。
[tsumugu]
It's a weaving word. The kind of thing that takes patience — pulling raw fibre out slowly, adding it to something that's becoming.
Good coffee is like that. You can't rush the interesting parts.
The coffee used at tsu•mu•Gu consists exclusively of high-quality Arabica beans that meet the strict evaluation standards of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
Grown on the plateau of Đà Lạt, Vietnam, at an altitude of approximately 1,500 metres, this coffee matures slowly in a cool climate, resulting in a rich aroma and deep, complex flavour.
where care beginswhere flavour developsHOPELAND FARM
Hopeland Farm is located on the plateau of Đà Lạt, Vietnam. Under cool climates, coffee beans mature slowly, developing a rich aroma and flavour.
At the farm, by-products such as coffee cherry pulp are reused as compost, cultivating crops in a way that utilises the natural cycle. This compost is also used to grow Japanese vegetables.
All harvesting is done by hand, and only perfectly ripe fruit is carefully selected. Each of these steps contributes to a clean, pure flavour.
The natural cycle and the meticulous craftsmanship that comes from human hands — that passion is embodied in the coffee from Hopeland Farm.
Binon Chocolate
Binon Chocolate is a chocolate brand that values bringing out the best in Vietnamese cacao. They manage every step from cultivation to fermentation and manufacturing, carefully expressing the natural flavour of the ingredients.
Grown amid Vietnam's rich natural environment, the cacao is characterised by its fruity acidity and deep, complex flavour.
Without adding anything unnecessary, it brings out the inherent charm of the cacao itself — a simple and honest approach that shares the same philosophy as the coffee at tsu•mu•Gu.
A cup of coffee and a bite of chocolate. Through the unique flavours each offers, you can experience the culture and charm of Vietnam.
tsu•mu•Gu is one of the specialty coffee experiences under Brain Works Coffee — a company built around connecting people with exceptional products from Japan and beyond.
